In a gesture noble and humane district election officer cum deputy commissioner Palamu Shashi Ranjan, DDC Palamu Ravi Anand, on probation Ravi Kumar and others donated blood.    Residents have hailed the humanitarian approach of the DC and his officers who in the time of the lok sabha election, found time and passion for blood donation.    Generally election time gives any official a big ruse to avoid many things, even taking calls of the journalists citing awfully pressed to election job.   Here the two civil tops of the district DC and the DDC found time to donate blood at the blood bank here in the Medinirai medical college hospital.    The voluntary blood donation camp was organised by the Jan Kalyan Trust today.    Till the time of filing of this report 19 units of blood were collected.
