Preparations for the postal ballot voting are in the mission mode.    Its nodal officer Anurag Kumar Tiwary who is the sub divisional magistrate Sadar here said there has been a very meticulous preparedness for it so as not to miss even a single postal ballot voting.    He said he and his team are right on it. He has sought cooperation from all the stakeholders.    There are 4625 Form 12. It is voters on election duty.    Again there are 89 absentee voters of Form 12 D.  These two Forms 12 and 12D are inter district movements.    These 4625 and 89 of Form 12 and Form 12D are of inter district.    The inter districts are Ramgarh, Dumka, Chatra,  Koderma,  Giridih,  Dhanbad,  Ranchi,  Jamshedpur, Khunti, Lohardaga and Hazaribag.    A total of 285 postal ballots are of the essential services.    Poll machinery here will be visiting 315 senior voters having age 85 and plus at their dwelling.     Similarly for 203 Divyangjan voters poll machinery will be visiting them at their homes under the aegis of the postal ballot voting.    Never in the past such effort was ever put in for the postal ballot voting as it is seen today.    Anurag Kumar Tiwary is concerned about the turn out of the voters in 2024.   There was a kind of apathy towards voting in the  booths falling within the limits of the municipal corporation in 2019. It was out and out urban apathy.    There were booths in the Daltonganj town where voting ended at 33 to 39 percent in 2019 only to close below 50 percent among 50 polling booths.
