Mega block between Thane and Kalyan

THANE: The Central Railway will operate a mega block between Thane - Kalyan on the down slow line between 11:20am-4:20pm on Sunday, February 12 for carrying out maintenance work. Up Slow/Semi fast line services leaving Mulund from 10.48 am to 4.23 pm will be diverted on the down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan and will halt at Thane, Diva and Dombivli. All locals leaving / arriving CSTM from 11 am to 5 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule. The trains will arrive its destination 10 minutes behind schedule.Down slow locals will not available at Kalwa, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Kalyan, Dombivli and Diva.

Down fast services leaving Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSTM) from 10.20 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva in addition to their respective scheduled halts. The trains will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.Up fast trains leaving Kalyan from 11 am to 3.08 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule beyond. All locals leaving / arriving CSTM from 11 am to 5 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule."Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused," said a railway official.
