Kerala women killed in rocket attack in Israel, will be cremated in Kerala: Gaza Israel Conflict

Union Minister V Muraleedharan, along with Israeli envoy Rony Yedidia Clein, paid their last respect. 

The body of Kerala caretaker Soumya Santosh, killed in Israel in a Palestinian rocket attack earlier this week, was brought to India on Saturday morning. Union Minister V Muraleedharan, Israel`s deputy ambassador Ronnie Yedidia Klein, paid tribute to Soumya during this time.

The plane left Ben-Gurion Airport at around 7 pm on Friday with the body of 30-year-old Soumya. The Indian embassy in Israel shared this information through a tweet. Soumya will be cremated after reaching Kerala. Muralitharan had informed that Soumya`s body is being taken to Kerala via Delhi.

Muralitharan tweeted, "The body of Soumya Santosh, who was killed in the rocket attacks from Gaza, is being brought back from Kerala to Israel via Delhi today, he will reach his ancestral place tomorrow. At the same time, when the body reached Delhi, the minister tweeted, I am sympathetic to the pain and suffering of Soumya`s family. May God give them more strength.

She was talking to her husband just before death

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the state government was in touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Israeli embassy, ​​working as a caregiver, to bring back the body of 32-year-old Santosh. The building in the Israeli city of Escalan collided with a rocket fired by Hamas. She was on a video call with her husband when her building collided with a rocket.

Israel will take care of Santosh`s family

Ronnie Yedidia Klein, deputy head of Israel`s mission in India, said Israeli officials would take care of Santosh`s family, including his nine-year-old son. The country`s ambassador to India Ron Malka also reached his home with his family, expressing his condolences to him and his loved ones.
