VARANASI: Annoyed at alleged indifferent attitude of the district administration, UP minister and SBSP president Om Prakash Rajbhar and his family members took up spade to repair a road at their ancestral village Fatepur Khonda in Sindhora area of the district on Saturday.Later, a video showing Rajbhar and his family members repairing the road went viral on social media . The work will started immediately after the fund is sanctioned. Everyone in the district administration and government knows that the reception function will be held at his house in which many VVIPs will take part, but it is unfortunate that the minister’s request was ignored.”The DM”said that Nirman Khand-I of PWD has already sent the estimate of the road repair to its headquarters for fund sanction. The SBSP leader alleged that despite written request for repairing the 500 metre mud road leading to his house, the local administration did nothing.District magistrate Yogeshwar Ram Mishra , however, said that PWD has been asked to repair the road.Rajbhar, who has been in news for targeting the Yogi Adityanath government on various issues like weak hold on officials and rampant corruption, has fired a fresh salvo to corner the government of which he is a part.Reports said the reception function of his son’s wedding is scheduled on Sunday at his house for which he has invited many VIPs like BJP president Amit Shah, chief minister and other leaders.Rajbhar’s representative, Shashi Pratap, said, “The minister on his letterhead had written to the administration and the government for repairing the road two months back.
