CM visits city reviews projects to be inaugurated by PM

The PM is also expected to inaugurate many projects worth around Rs 2,500 crore during his visit. The projects to be inaugurated include virtual museum at Man Mahal, cancer hospital and super-specialty hospitals at Banaras Hindu University, 120 MLD sewage treatment plant at Goithaha and integrated control and command center under the Smart City project. The projects are being monitored by the officials. Earlier, the PM had attended Ravidas birth anniversary celebrations here in 2016. District magistrate Surendra Singh said that the preparations are being made in view of the PM’s proposed visit.According to the officials, the PM, during his visit, may go to Sant Ravidas Temple in Seergowardhanpur village to take part in Sant Ravidas birth anniversary celebrations.

Times News NetworkVaranasi: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath reached the city on Friday evening and took stock of the projects to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his proposed visit to the city on February 19.After holding review meetings and making site inspection of projects, the CM will take part in inaugural ceremony of the centenary celebration of IIT (BHU) on Saturday.Though schedule of the PM’s visit is yet to be received, the local administration has geared up to complete the preparations. The projects are being monitored by the officials.
