Posters branding Farooq Abdullah and Rishi Kapoor as traitors appear in Varanasi

— Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) 11 November 2017VARANASI: The posters bearing the images of National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah and Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor appeared on the city walls on Friday in which they were branded as traitors for their recent remarks on POK. "Their (Abdullah and Kapoor) statements on POK clearly reflect their thought on line of treason. The Bollywood actor (Rishi Kapoor) also agreed with his (Abdulla's) anti-national thought, he said adding, "Branding them 'deshdrohi' we are putting their posters on the wall for public view".Abdullah's statement was also supported by Kapoor, when he on November 11 tweeted backing his remarks: "Farooq Abdullah ji, Salaam! Accept it, I am 65 years old and I want to see Pakistan before I die. The posters were pasted by the workers of Manavadhikar Janshakti Party (MJP).

The posters were pasted by the workers of Manavadhikar Janshakti Party (MJP). The MJP spokesperson Chandra Shekhar Singh on Thursday also filed a plaint in the local court urging legal action against them for the charge of sedition.The posters appeared in different areas including Sigra, Bhelupur, Maldahiya and others. "Their (Abdullah and Kapoor) statements on POK clearly reflect their thought on line of treason. We have filed a plaint in the local court for legal action against them. The court has given the date of hearing on November 21," said Singh adding that in continuation of their agitation they have pledged to paste 10,000 posters in various parts of the city. "In protest against their anti-national statement the agitation would continue till the hearing of the court," he said.He said that Abdullah's recent controversial statement saying Pakistan is not weak and not wearing bangles to allow India take that part of Jammu and Kashmir under its occupation falls in the category of treason. The Bollywood actor (Rishi Kapoor) also agreed with his (Abdulla's) anti-national thought, he said adding, "Branding them 'deshdrohi' we are putting their posters on the wall for public view".Abdullah's statement was also supported by Kapoor, when he on November 11 tweeted backing his remarks: "Farooq Abdullah ji, Salaam!
