Madhusudan on Monday said the navratna company was known for its competency level by establishing high standards in technological discipline and asked the management trainees to work with dedication. He was speaking after inaugurating the induction and orientation programme of MTs of February 2018 batch. He said the PSUs provided excellent opportunities to employees to learn and grow in their career and RINL always offered good working environment. He exhorted them to work with discipline, commitment and inculcate the habit of safety consciousness. The new trainees should give importance to punctuality, creativity and teamwork to go up their career ladder, he added. He gave an overview of the steel industry in the country and in particular, the growth story of RINL. He congratulated them on their decision to opt for employment in RINL and he foresaw a bright future for them in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Director (Projects) P.C. Mohapatra, Director (Personnel) K.C. Das, Director (Finance) V.V. Venugopal Rao, Director (Operations) P.K. Rath in their speeches said RINL believed in gender equality and social empowerment and congratulated them on joining the RINL fraternity. Earlier, DGM (Training) B.B.R. Vardhanam in the welcome address mentioned that RINL had recruited 251 management trainees from various disciplines through online test on an all India basis.
