more-in Taking up work on the Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship, convention centre and a university for entrepreneurship at Amaravati and strengthening the infrastructure for growth of MSME across the State will be the focus areas of new CII-AP chairman R.V.S. Rudra Raju. Mr. Raju, director of RHI Clasil Private Ltd, which owns a refractory unit near here told The Hindu on Sunday that CII had a vital role to play for development of futuristic capital at Amaravati and Surnise State of Andhra Pradesh. At the CII Partnership Summit held here last month, CII announced development of National Centre for Startups at Amaravati. The centre will start at Vijayawada till development of facilities at Amaravati for its relocation. CII and Singapore Business Federation also recently signed MoU to establish Singapore AP business Council to explore business opportunities for mutual cooperation in Amaravati and other places. While stating that Visakhapatnam being the largest industrial and commercial hub would continue to be on top of priority in holding huge conventions and bringing in international delegations to showcase investment potential in the State, he said they would now look for bigger engagement of members from Rayalaseema, which is emerging as a new business hub with focus on development of Sri City and electronic, hardware cluster and automobile clusters. Interaction with PSUs Mr. Raju said they would hold more number of buyer and seller meets and interactions with PSUs to avail new business opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
