more-in Jana Sena party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan said on Saturday BJP president Amit Shah’s letter to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the latter’s reply to it in the Assembly had made it clear that the Central government would never grant the Special Category Status (SCS) and the TDP government was not in a position to secure it. In a press release, Mr. Kalyan said Mr. Shah had sung the same song that the Central government gave thousands of crores and the State had failed in utilising the same. The summary of Mr. Naidu’s reply was that injustice was meted out to A.P. Mr. Kalyan asked how long would the Central and the State governments play hide and seek and what prevented them from setting up a committee to give definite information to the public. He suggested that the observations made by the fact-finding committee constituted by the JSP could be taken into consideration in this regard. ‘BJP, TDP to blame’ Mr. Kalyan said the BJP and the TDP should realise that they were responsible for the prevailing unrest. The JSP would chart the course of action after yet another round of deliberations with the Left parties and experts like Jayaprakash Narayan.
