Visakhapatnam: If TDP is truly determined to fight for a separate railway zone in the state, four people are sufficient to achieve it — chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, his son and IT minister Nara Lokesh, YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy and myself, said Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan during his party’s protest march (Kavathu) on the RK beach road on Saturday.The beach road turned into a sea of red with thousands of slogan-shouting activists carrying party flags and participating in the march from Kalimatha temple to YMCA. The protest march also concluded his Praja Porata Yatra in north coastal Andhra Pradesh.“If Lokesh guides us, we will fight for a separate rail zone by sitting on the tracks in Visakhapatnam without necessarily making Lokesh involved in railway cases,” Pawan Kalyan said. “Lokesh is fond of cycling. He can take a cycling tour to Delhi to press for special category status. If chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son (Lokesh) tour the north coastal region of the state, they can see how the region has been deprived of development and the problems public are facing.”“Visakhapatnam is just not about RK beach road. If one goes to One Town area, it gives the true picture of the city. North coastal AP has turned into a dumpyard by the setting up of polluting industries in the region. While YSRC loots the state in a forcible manner, the TDP takes the legal way for the same. Naidu always brags about his Vision 2050, which is only meant to make his son Lokesh the chief minister,” he added.“I am firm on my stand from day one when it comes to special category status. I have always refused special financial assistance. The TDP leaders, just before the elections, are enacting a new drama for railway zone and special category status,” said the Jana Sena chief.
