From KGH-AMC to the DME to the principal secretary – all have been trying for the tertiary centre and we have sent a senior doctor to Delhi to negotiate to bring the sanctioned project to Vizag , where already the civil works of the oncology block is ongoing. The civil works for the CSR Oncology block is already going on.From the Rs 45 crore central funds, high-end cancer equipment worth Rs 21 crore can be purchased and the block can also be completed as scheduled and planned.”Principal of AMC Dr P V Sudhakar said, “Already proposals have been sent to the Centre in person.
