Robbers tie elderly couple, decamp with gold and money

Cops suspect that the group of thieves came on Monday and conducted a reccee and identified the elderly couple 's house for robbery. VISAKHAPATNAM: Ten robbers barged into a house in Ramnagar of Yalamanchili town in the Visakhapatnam district , held an old-age couple hostage and fled with about 15 tolas of gold and some cash.According to sources, around 10 thieves entered the house of the old-aged couple at around 1.30 am and tied them to chairs with towels. The victims alleged that all the thieves were speaking in Telugu language and had planned the robbery in advance.Locals complained to the police that they had seen around 10 beggars roaming in the area on Monday.
