A sixty-year-old woman died and 10 people were injured in a road accident on NH-16 stretch near Nakkapalle in the district on Friday. While undergoing treatment, Kasulamma died and the condition of the remaining injured people is said to be out of dander. Five of them injured suffered severe injuries in the accident and they were admitted to KG Hospital. The accident occurred when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling hit a lorry. SI of Nakkapalle P Simhachalam said the auto-rickshaw with 10 passengers was heading towards the local shandy at Nakkapalle.
