During the visit, the Indian naval ship personnel will have professional interaction with their Republic of Fiji counterparts and the ship will have an ‘Open Day’ for general public on Tuesday. In an attempt to strengthen bilateral relations with Fiji, an Indian Naval Ship (INS) Sahyadri which was on a good will visit to the island nation entered the Port of Suva there on Monday. Goodwill visit: INS Sahyadri at Port of Suva in Fiji on Monday. The naval ship is visiting the Republic of Fiji en route to India after participating in the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC)-2018 organised at Hawaii. Officers from INS Sahyadri, RFMF (Republic of Fiji Military Forces) and Indian High Commission will also be participating in mangrove and sandalwood planting activities on Tuesday.
