more-in Entries are being sought from management and engineering students for the southern region round of the NTPC Electron Quiz-2018 which is scheduled to be organised at 2.30 p.m. on September 12 at Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, JNTU campus in Hyderabad. Each institute can send multiple teams each consisting of two students for the regional event. The quiz will be hosted by K .M. Prashant, AGM (Corporate Communications) and Sujit Varkey, AGM (HR) of NTPC, popular in quiz circles in the country. The subject areas are broadly from the world of corporate business, news events, general knowledge, films and entertainment and sports. The regional level competition will have two rounds. Basing on performance in the qualifying written round, six teams will be selected for regional level finals, slated for the same day. Awards Winners of the southern region finals will get prizes worth ?30,000 per team, while the first runner-up will get ?20,000 per team. The second runner-up will get ?10,000 per team. The fourth, fifth and sixth will receive consolation prizes worth ?4,000 each per team. In addition, special prizes and mementos will be given to participants in the audience round. Top three winners from the regional round will be selected for the national level competition, scheduled to be held on September 18 in New Delhi. The last date for submitting entries is September 11.
