Murty Auditorium here, Justice Nageswara Rao explained with examples that agricultural reforms and abolition of the Zamindari system had brought about the far-reaching changes in the country. Social transformation Further, Justice Nageswara Rao stated that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had given importance to equality and freedom while drafting the Constitution. Citing various instances, he spoke on racial discrimination, role of law in social transformation, legal education, Article 21 of the Constitution and the need to churn out quality lawyers. “The law students should be the catalysts for change and they should contribute to social transformation, discharging their duties with greater responsibility,” he said.
