Naval officer undertaking motorcycle tour to create awareness about responsible use of cellphones

CHENNAI: A naval officer is on a motorcycle tour from Chennai to Visakhapatnam and back to spread the message of “Responsible use of mobile phones,” aiming at reaching out to the public, especially children.N Srinivasacharyulu, a telephone supervisor from Navy exchange in Chennai, started his tour on Wednesday, said a release from Press Information Bureau. The event was flagged off on Children’s Day.Srinivasacharyulu is a keen cyclist and has undertaken many cycle expeditions, the most recent being the journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to spread the message of Swachch Bharat.The present expedition is aimed at encouraging young children to use the electronic gadget responsibly.
