He charged that it was clear that both the YSRCP and the TRS are acting as B teams of the BJP and PM Narendra Modi. Sources in the party said Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will try to forge a pre-poll alliance between the Jana Sena and YSR Congress in order to destabilise TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his party.“It was a black day for democracy,” TTDP president L Ramana said. “How can TRS leaders meet Jagan when in the past they have pointed out that he had no moral right to talk about corruption as he himself was facing several charges,” Ramana said. Meanwhile, TDP sources saw a bigger game between the TRS and YSRC coming together and feared that KCR’s larger aim was to bring about a pre-poll alliance between the Jaganmohan and actor Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena with the aim of defeating the TDP in the coming elections. However, other sources in the party were of the view that a TRS and YSRC tie-up will benefit the TDP as KCR is viewed as a villain in AP for having championed the division of the state.
