Visakhapatnam: Sainik School, Korukonda campus, was abuzz with activity due to tank dedication ceremony, which took place in its premises on Saturday. The event was also graced by Bimla Bisht, Usha Krishna and Commodore KS Noor. The dignitaries felt that the cadets would be motivated enter the portals of the National Defence Academy, Pune. ENC Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, who is also the chairman of the local board administration of Sainik School Korukonda, and Lieutenant General KG Krishna, an ex-student who retired as the director, general military intelligence, Indian Army, dedicated the two T-55 tanks to the school.The tanks were received from Kirkee in January 2017 as a result of consistent efforts of the alumni and the school management.
