Alleging that fixing the number of wards without issuing the election schedule is dilatory tactics, CPI(M) has demanded that the schedule be immediately announced. The actual process of delimitation and reservations should be immediately taken up and the election schedule announced while trying to get the petitions withdrawn, he demanded.
