Priyanka Chopra gets notice for illegal construction at her Oshiwara office

BMC has now sent two notices to the owners and occupants of both the premises which comes under the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act (MRTP) act, and has  given them a time of one month.

After a lot of fun things happening in her life, Priyanka Chopra has landed herself into legal trouble as BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) recently sent her a notice for an illegal construction at Oshiwara office premise.

As per the municipal corporation, the actress has built an unauthorized construction adjoining another commercial premise, which she has rented out to Charisma Beauty Spa and Salon. BMC also said that they have received five complaints from the people who visited that spa along with a municipal corporator. They alleged altered illegal construction in the spa which also includes putting an unauthorised mezzanine floor. They checked the premise and found that it violates the rules.

BMC has now sent two notices to the owners and occupants of both the premises which comes under the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act (MRTP) act, and has  given them a time of one month.

A senior BMC official said, “We earlier wrote them asking to regularize the unauthorized changed after paying the penalty and removed other illegal changes which cannot be approved. But they didn’t bother to pay any attention after which we sent them notice under the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act (MRTP). If they fail to reply on this, we will demolish the illegal construction at both the premises.”

Well, it's not the first time the BMC has sent a legal notice to a celeb, earlier also many B-Town personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Kapil Sharma, Arjun Kapoor have faced same kind of trouble .
