Akshay found out about the video making the round a few days after it was released online.
Amidst the Nana Patekar and Tanushree Dutta sexual harassment controversy, a video featuring Akshay Kumar allegedly speaking against Tanushree went viral. The shocking video shows the Housefull 4 actor, who is currently with nana in the movie, addressing the issue and sharing his thoughts. Soon after the video spread like wildfire, the actor has come out and deemed the video fake. The actor has approached the cyber cell at the Bandra-Kurla complex and filed a complaint against the morphed video. The video was edited in a way to show Akshay react to the ongoing controversy.
As per sources of Hindustan Times, Akshay’s complaint states that the video was edited out from a press conference the actor was a part of a couple of days ago. The video shows the actor expressing his opinions about another actor. The complaint alleges that someone edited his answer and morphed in a way to depict that he was talking against Tanushree.
“The narrative of the video was edited in a way that it looks like Kumar is expressing his views on the Dutta-Patekar controversy, which he never did,” said an officer.
