YouTuber Lilly Singh also tweeted in support of Rihanna as she wrote on social media, "Yes! Thank you so much rihanna. This is a humanity issue! I Stand With Farmers and this narrative is TIRED."

Lilly Singh had shown similar solidarity with the farmers' protests last week after thousands of people and tractors marched on the roads of New Delhi on January 26, the day India was celebrating its 72nd Republic Day.

For over two months, thousands of farmers have been protesting at the Delhi borders seeking the repeal of three farm laws passed by the Parliament. At present, the Supreme Court has stayed the implementation of the farm laws and formed a committee to resolve the ongoing impasse.
