The IT raids were conducted at premises linked to Taapsee, Anurag and his partners at the now-dissolved production house Phantom Films.

The raids began in the morning and continued till evening. The action is said to be part of an investigation against the production house, which was dissolved in 2018, and its promoters.
Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl are also under the I-T department's scanner.
After the searches were concluded and officials evaluated their findings, the celebrities were summoned by the agency through a notice. The questioning of Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu continued the entire night.
