Navya Nanda poses in ripped jeans in response to Uttarakhand CM’s remark

The CM made the remarks while speaking at a workshop organised by the Uttarakhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Dehradun on Tuesday.

Taking to Instagram, Navya shared photos where she is wearing ripped jeans and also gave her response to the statement. She wrote, “Change your mentality before changing our clothes because the only thing shocking here is the message comments like this send to society.”

In the next story, Navya posted a picture of herself wearing a ripped jeans. “I’ll wear my ripped jeans. Thank you. And I’ll wear them proudly,” Navya wrote, captioning the photo.

Gul Panag didn’t mention the CM but wrote, “* Takes out ripped jeans.**” She also posted a picture of herself in a pair of ripped jeans. She was accompanied by a girl posing with her in similar jeans.

“Wearing ripped jeans and showing knees in the race towards Westernization is the lesson being taught to kids these days. Where is this coming from?” He related a story about meeting a mother wearing ripped jeans saying. “This woman runs an NGO and goes out into society like this? What kind of culture does that propagate?” the CM said, according to a report.
