Here’s the secret behind Sonam Kapoor’s self-designed ‘Mangalsutra’

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had a Sikh wedding at the actress’ aunt’s place followed by a wedding party on the same night at The Leela, Mumbai.

Sonam Kapoor got married on May 8 and we gave everyone a hint of her big fat Bollywood wedding through the inside videos.

A huge number of pics and videos flooded social media and now, we have got our hands on the actress’ ‘mangalsutra’.

Yes, Usheeta Rawtani, who has executed Sonam’s mangalsutra, took to social media and posted its picture revealing each detail.

She captioned the pic saying, “Congratulations on your wedding @sonamkapoor  & @anandahuja. A mangalsutra is a sacred necklace that a groom ties around a brides neck in an Indian wedding ceremony. This one was especially designed by the bride (@sonamkapoor) herself and executed by us. It has symbols of both their star signs. Hers being Gemini (on the left) and his Leo (on the right) these are complimented by a Solitaire in the centre.”

Wow, isn’t that pretty?

It was surprising to know that Sonam designed her mangalsutra but it was even more surprising to know the sacred necklace’s significance.
