Rhea Chakraborty was at the receiving end of extreme hatred on social media after SSR's death. The late actor’s father had accused Rhea of abetment of suicide last year. Rhea and her family faced an immense amount of social media hatred and media trials.

The actress and her brother Showik were also arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau last year, but were later granted bail. Since the last few weeks, Rhea Chakraborty and her family members were spotted by the paparazzi a few times, as they stepped out for house hunting.
