Hafthor Bjornsson or popularly known as the Mountain from Game of Thrones has set a world record by deadlifting 472 kg, or 1041 pounds.
Hafthor or popularly known as the Mountain from Game of Thrones has set a world record by deadlifting 472 kg, or 1041 pounds.
The record was broken at the 30th anniversary of the Arnold Sports Festival. The bodybuilder set a new world record by defeating three-time winner Brian Shaw's record of 560 pounds.
Hafthor has been named the strongest man in Iceland several times but he is yet to win the title the of the World’s Strongest Man. Though he has been a runner up twice.
Well, definitely the Game of throne’s Mountain is as strong as we think in real life too.
