'Avengers Infinity War' box office collection Day 3: The superhero film netts Rs 96.30 crore in India

The much-anticipated movie ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ has finally hit the theatres on Friday and going by the latest box office collection, the Marvel Universe’ superhero movie is shattering all the records in India.

According to early trade estimates, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ has grown over the weekend and is on the verge of crossing 100 crore mark. At the end of the opening weekend, the movie has been recorded at Rs 96.30 crore  

Talking about the detailed breakdown of collections, trade analyst and industry tracker, Ramesh Bala revealed on Twitter, “In #India, #AvengersInfinityWar takes All-time No.1 Opening for a #Hollywood Movie. Fri – Rs 31.30 crore, Sat – Rs 30.50 crore, Sun – Rs 34.50 crore. Total: Rs 96.30 crore nett. Gross: Rs 123.25 crore.”

Considering the hype around the movie, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’,  this huge amount at the opening day of the movie, is quite expected.

Even though it was released in just 2000 screens in India, is a huge achievement.
