Ever since Deepika Padukone has come out in open to speak about depression, Bollywood actresses have started openly to talk about issues that they are facing in life.

Among them was Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen Bhatt also opened up about her tryst with depression two years ago.

Now, mommy Soni confirms that Shaheen has started writing a book on the subject.

Soni tells us, “Shaheen is penning down her experiences in a book and she is doing it to help other people understand that there’s nothing wrong in accepting your condition. Shaheen is a strong, creative girl.  It’s brave of her to talk about it on a platform like this. She is a great writer and when she told us about her decision to write the book, we were happy.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have immersed themselves in prepping for their first film together titled 'Brahmastra'. Work on the Ayan Mukerji directorial is on in full swing in Tel Aviv, Israel and producer Karan Johar was also happy to let everyone in on the same.

Although much of the film is under wraps, Ranbir had also attended DJ workshops, believed to be for his role in this trilogy. The film which goes on floors next month also features Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
