While many applauded the refreshing chemistry between lead actors in the trailer many criticised it for being another example of nepotism.
Karan Johar unveiled the first trailer for his much-anticipated film, Dhadak, on Monday along with the whole cast and Twitter does what it is best at. Trolling.
The netizens exploded with memes and jokes for the upcoming film.
Dhadak, which introduces late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter, is a Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat which was directed by Nagraj Manjule.
While many applauded the refreshing chemistry between lead actors in the trailer many criticised it for being another example of nepotism. The trolls also called it a bad remake of 'Sairat'.
We have compiled the best reactions to the trailer of Shashank Khaitan's directorial Dhadak. Check out the tweets:
Regional cinema is soulful, it captures the dialect & earthen humor so well. A Bollywood remake is almost a parody by ham actors and a khichdi of local dialect and Hindi. #Sairat vs #Dhadak is #Reebok vs #Reebook
Karan Johar : movie bana lo Director : kaise? K Jo : star kids, good costumes, great location, script utha lenge koi purani Director : acting? K Jo : woh next movie mein dekhenge#Dhadak

Well, now we wonder how is the 'Dhadak' team going to handle the criticism which is already on its way before the film's release.
