'The Sound Of Music' actor, Christopher Plummer passes away

Christophoer plummer who starred in some of the best hollywood movies like The Sound of Music, All the Money in the World  died in Connecticut with his wife, Elaine Taylor by his side. In 2012 he was the oldest actor ever to receive an Oscar.

His manager in a statement said, "Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old fashion manners, self deprecating humour and the music of words. He was a National Treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all of our hearts and his legendary life will endure for all generations to come.”

Plumber has done various work in theatre, TV and films. 

He is widely known for his acting in The Sound Of Music where he romanced Julie Andrews .

He will be remembered as Captain von Trapp from The Sound Of Music.
