Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan became parents of a baby boy on February 21. While the news trended for the whole day, new speculation started regarding the name of the newly born baby.

This came as earlier, a controversy had erupted over the name of Kareena and Saif's first child, Taimur Ali Khan. Twitteratti had contended that Taimur's name sounded like the name of a barbaric invader and this remained a subject of debate for quite some time.

Saif had other plans for Taimur’s name but Kareena was keen on ‘Taimur’. At an event, Kareena had said, "There was a lot of trolling, but there was also an immense amount of support. Not that the trolls mattered, because the night before I was going to the hospital, Saif asked me, 'If it's a boy, are you sure you want to do this? Let's change the name and call him Faiz. It's more poetic and romantic.' And I was like, no. If it's a boy, I want my son to be a fighter. Taimur means 'iron' and I will produce Iron Man. I am proud to name him Taimur." 

Apparently, Faiz seems to have been inspired by legendary poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz.

Although the couple hasn’t announced anything yet, there could be a great chance of them naming the baby boy ‘Faiz’, which was Saif’s alternate choice.
