Nagarjuna Akkineni takes the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination

Nagarjuna Akkineni, on Wednesday (March 17), took to Twitter to reveal that he received his first shot of Covid-19 vaccine yesterday at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He also added that he received a dose of Covaxin.

In his caption, the actor also urged people, who are eligible, to register on the government's website and get themselves vaccinated against Covid-19.

Taking to Twitter, Nagarjuna wrote, "Got my covaxin jab yesterday , absolutely no down time. I urge whoever is eligible to take the vaccine."

Phase 2 of Vaccination Drive began earlier this month. Citizens who are above 60 years of age can register on the government's website to get themselves vaccinated. People who are above 45 years of age with co-morbidities are eligible as well.

On the career front, Nagarjuna is busy with the release of upcoming Telugu film, Wild Dog. The film is gearing up for release on April 2.
