Triple Talaq based show ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ faces objection

The Shariat Board Chief, Imam Organizations and Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind have raised questions on the show since it is based on a religious concept. Raising objections to it, Ulama’s in Muzzafarnagar said that they will discuss the issue with Darul Uloom and take further course of action.

Not long ago Supreme Court cited that Triple Talaq or verbal divorce violated the fundamental rights of Muslim women as it irrevocably ends marriage and hence declared it unconstitutional.

But seems like a few groups are not happy with the decision and are continuing to protest.

Recently a new TV show ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ which deals with the issue of Triple Talaq, has faced objection from Muslim priests.

Yes, the Shariat Board Chief, Imam Organizations and Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind have raised questions on the show since it is based on a religious concept. Raising objections to it, Ulama’s in Muzzafarnagar said that they will discuss the issue with Darul Uloom and take further course of action.

Talking about her show, the female lead, Eisha Singh had said, “When a woman is asked for his consent at the time of marriage, then why not at the time of divorce? They (men) do not ask women. This is wrong. In this case, both should get equal rights.”

Well, now it will be interesting to see if these religious organisations disrupt the smooth airing of the show
