alking about it JD said, “He had liked the movie and in fact suggested that we make a part two. This time he asked us ‘Khichdi kevi paaki che’ (How is the khichdi cooked this time?). And we responded by requesting him to watch a few portions of the show. It was really nice of him to watch it.”

It was a big day for TV show ‘Khichdi’ cast as the makers JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia met the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Yes, we came across a picture where the producers and Hansa aka Supriya Pathak are seen posing alongside PM Modi.

JD Majethia knew that the Prime Minister enjoyed watching his show and years later when the movie was released, he ensured that PM Modi watched it.

Talking about it JD said, “He had liked the movie and in fact suggested that we make a part two. This time he asked us ‘Khichdi kevi paaki che’ (How is the khichdi cooked this time?). And we responded by requesting him to watch a few portions of the show. It was really nice of him to watch it.”

Wow! Now isn’t it a proud moment for all the Khichdi enthusiasts?

Speaking about the sequel, JD Majethia said, “Sequels are not easy as they have already set the benchmark. Both Aatish Kapadia (director) and I took a call that if we are bringing Sarabhai… and Khichdi again, we will have to work hard a lot on the script. Initially, when the promo of Khichdi was out, there was nervousness. Once we got a positive response from the audience, the nervousness went away.”

The show is soon going to air from 14th April on Saturdays and Sundays. So guys how excited are you? Do let us know in the comments below.
