Akshay gives a strong message at the start of the trailer by checking himself after wearing a sanitary napkin. He is seen as a person with a vision who even makes his wife's work easier by inventing the machine to chop onions in an easy way. 

He creates a low-cost sanitary napkin for the women in his village but all they do is look at him in shame. But over the time, all thanks to Sonam Kapoor's character, he gets more determined and makes the women in his village believe in how a sanitary napkin is hygienic and a necessity.
