The wait is over and finally the cult comedy show Khichdi’s promo is out and about.

In the first promo, it’s seen that Jayshree asking Babuji to hurry up as they are riding on a boat. Praful, in his typical style, asks him to switch on the AC while they are travelling in open air. Babuji tells him that there is no roof over them, but Hansa being her usual self, points out that AC is placed not on the roof but in front. It was later revealed that the Parekhs are travelling in a boat.

Now isn’t it funny?

Well, the best thing about the show is that all the actors from the first season have come together this time.

Anang Desai plays Tulsidas Parekh aka Babuji, Rajeev Mehta is seen as Praful Parekh, Vandana Pathak as Jayshree and Supriya Pathak, the most loved character of the show, returns as Hansa Parekh.

However the characters of Chakki and Jackky, are played by new child artists.

Apart from the ensemble cast, there are some new faces like Renuka Shahane, Deepshika Nagpal and Bhaktiyaar Irani, who have been roped in to be a part of the show.This time ‘Khichdi’ will be an hour-long show and aired every Saturday and Sunday.
