‘Lust Stories’ trailer talks about various shades of love

The film is produced by Ronnie Screwala’s RSVP films, and marks Netflix’s third original Indian film, after Brahman Naman and Love Per Square Foot. The streaming service will also unveil its first original Indian series, Sacred Games starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The trailer of the upcoming film, ‘Lust Stories’ directed by ace filmmakers - Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar - telling about the urban Indian tales of different shades of love. The trailer was launched at an event in Mumbai where all the directors were present and also announced the release date of the film June 15.

Featuring Radhika Apte, Manisha Koirala, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani, the trailer is a mix of fun, love and lust. It opens with Radhika’s dialogue where she says, “You can’t hurt someone you love, intentionally you don’t. But you only hurt those you love!”

According to Netflix, “Lust Stories is a contemporary take on real-life relationships through the lens of four women and their desires. The anthology film is a take on ‘Love, Sex and everything in between!’”

The trailer effortlessly weaves in the different stories into what seems like a thematically connected film that could appeal people outside India too. Lust Stories will be made available for streaming in 190 countries all over the world.
