Fanney Khan Trailer: Anil Kapoor kidnaps Aishwarya Rai to make his daughter successful

The trailer shows, Aishwarya Rai, who plays a pop star, Baby Singh in the film getting kidnapped by Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor – and they mess up with it.  

Finally, the trailer of the much-awaited, Fanney Khan is out. The film, which stars Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta is an official remake of Belgian musical drama, Everybody’s Famous! (2000). The two-minute-seventeen-second video starts with Anil Kapoor performing on stage as Fanney Khan in 1990, then the trailer rolls down to 2018 that sees him as a taxi driver who wants to fulfil his teen daughter- Lata Sharma’s dream of becoming a singer, who is facing issues like body shaming at school, struggling to fit among her peers, etc.

Later the trailer shows, Aishwarya Rai, who plays a pop star, Baby Singh in the film getting kidnapped by Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor – and they mess up with it.

This is the first time that Aishwarya and Rajkummar have been paired opposite each other, while Anil and Aishwarya have previously worked together in hit films such as Taal and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.

Few days back, the makers of Fanney Khan released the teaser of the film, which saw Rajkummar Rao as the sutradhar, i.e. he narrates the story of the film in his deep baritoned voice. Anil Kapoor was seen playing the trumpet. Last, but not the least, we also had a glimpse of the uber chic character Ash is playing in the teaser

Now that the trailer is out, we eagerly await the film, which is slated to hit theatres on August 3. It will be presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra Pictures.
