Pursue GST course to fully understand the new tax in just 100 hours

With GST being murmured in every corner of the nation, government has decided to launch a certificate course to create professionals. The course is set to be launched in three cities from July 15. Curious to know the details? Read on to know more about.

With the launch of GST from midnight June 30th, it has left people speculating the perks of the newly regulated tax. In order to drop the chaos, Government of India under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) came up with a 100-hour certificate course.

Why a GST course?

From professionals to household individuals, GST has made its presence felt. But a majority of people are filled with doubts and speculations about it. To cater that government decided to come up with the launch of a 100 hour GST certificate course to create a workforce which is trained in GST.

Where can you do the course?

It is speculated that the course starts from 15th July in three cities, namely, Delhi, Bengaluru and Bhopal. It is conceptualised under the central’s government’s scheme Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).

Who can opt for the course?

People belonging to banking or commerce background can attend GST course, the list is as follows

·         Chartered accountants

·         Company secretaries

·         Graduates and post-graduates in commerce

·         Banking

·         statistics

·         financial markets and

·         business administration

How you can apply for the course?

The application procedure is simplified so that maximum number of people can opt for it. Candidates can apply for the course by calling 08800055555 and registering themselves.

Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that ‘It`s a historic reform that the government has brought in. We welcome this change and will contribute to our best of efforts to align to the new regime.’
