Surgery camp at Agartala government hospital

Roy Barman said the department has decided to introduce e-hospital facilities in GBP Hospital from the third week of May. Altogether, nine operation theatres (OTs) - four for general surgery, two each for orthopaedics and gynaecology and one for ENT - will be there. The full team of doctors, surgeons and nurses of respective departments will attend the camp. AGARTALA: For the first time ever in the history of the state, the Tripura government has decided to hold special surgery camps on the campus of Agartala Government Medical College.Health minister Sudip Roybarman said the department took the initiative of arranging special camps for surgeries in four disciplines on the second Saturday of every month to ease the sufferings of patients who are compelled to leave the state for even simple surgeries.
