Police seized 280 bottles of intake Phensedyl, 6,175 empty corks, 120 empty bottles, 15 kg sugar, 7 kg saccharine, 3 kg baking soda and 50 litres raw liquid Phensedyl - all of which were being used to manufacture adulterated Phensedyl.The unit is believed to supply adulterated drug to different local markets besides, smuggling to neighbouring country. AGARTALA: A local court on Wednesday sent nine people accused of manufacturing adulterated drugs to five days' police custody for further investigation.West Tripura police had arrested Biswajit Chakraborty (39), Subir Majumder (32), Tamal Das (18), Subra Deb (40), Bishnu Paul (35), Chentu Sarkar (28), Tapash Dhar (30), Dilip Das (30) and Sagar Debbarma (19) at Arundhutinagar here on Tuesday.
