'Tripura govt, party must work in sync'

"Whatever position you hold in the government, the party is the guiding force," Jamwal said at the meeting. He added that the leaders were of the view that all elected representatives must meet pristha pramukhs (page observers) at least twice a month to get feedback of party activities and also gather people's opinion about functioning of the government. AGARTALA: The BJP in Tripura has asked its MLAs to stay away from any sort of corruption at the party's state executive council meeting at Khowai on Wednesday.Chief minister Biplab Deb , party's state in charge Sunil Deodhar and BJP's organizational secretary of the northeast, Ajay Jamwal, addressed 137 state-level leaders and policy makers and stressed on the need for better coordination between the party and the government.
