Tripura woman gives birth to a healthy child in Bangladesh amid COVID 19 lockdown

AGARTALA: A man was arrested for allegedly raping his 4-year-old daughter on Tuesday in Dhalai district of the state, police have said.The incident came to light when a 4-year-old child complained of severe pain in her private parts when she was at her anganwadi school and she told a teacher what had happened. The anganwadi school teacher then lodged a police complaint following which an FIR was filed and the suspect was arrested on Wednesday, said superintendent of police Sudipta Das.The suspect, a labourer from Bihar , was produced before a court on Thursday and remanded in judicial custody till February 5.
