Tripura Man kills wife mother in law in Dhalai district

A 45-year-old man on Monday allegedly killed his wife and mother-in-law in the presence of his two children at Ambassa Tripura's Dhalai district. The police said Jaya Das, 38, and her mother Kajoli Sahi, 55, died on the spot when Narayan Das attacked them with a sharp weapon following an argument with his wife and mother-in-law. Naryan, a resident of Hapania, who worked at Agartala Municipal Corporation, attacked them in a fit of rage at their home. Police have arrested Narayan Das but had a tough time taking him to the police station as a large crowd blocked their way. Family members of the victims said Narayan and Jaya were married for 15 years and had two kids.

Jaya had been staying with her parents for some months due to family problems. Police have arrested Narayan Das but had a tough time taking him to the police station as a large crowd blocked their way. The crowd demanded that the killer be handed over to them. The police team could leave after the arrival of reinforcements. Family members of the victims said Narayan and Jaya were married for 15 years and had two kids.
