Assam BJP gives Rs 5 lakh to kin of Tripura murder victim

AGARTALA: As announced by Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Assam State BJP on Thursday handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the family members of the party's tribal leader Chanmohan Tripura , who was allegedly murdered in December last year.BJP state president Biplab Kumar Deb handed over the cheque to the wife of the slain leader and reiterated that BJP would not leave the accused involved in the killing of Chanmohan.BJP alleged that Chanmohan Tripura was killed by CPI(M) cadres at Dalapati area of Gandacherra.
