Fugitive criminal arrested after 14 years in Hyderabad

AGRA: Parvez alias Mallu from Muzaffarnagar, a notorious criminal wanted in 20 cases, including murder, attempted murder, and robbery, was finally arrested by UP police in Hyderabad after 14 years.Parvez, 50, had been on the run, periodically surrendering to the court after committing crimes, said DSP Ram Ashish Yadav. The criminal was booked under the Gangster Act by Muzaffarnagar police during his time as a fugitive. He had evaded police since 2009 and had settled in Hyderabad under a new identity. He was a wanted criminal at Nagar Kotwali police station for the past four years with a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head.SI Kaushal Gupta, leading a team of five officers, said, Parvez was located and apprehended after a two-months search. He was working as a carpenter in Telangana and was brought to Muzaffarnagar.Parvezs serious crimes included two murders in 2009 as well as cases of robbery and attempted murder.
