AGRA: A couple - Aamir (21) and Sajida (20) - was found hanging from the ceiling of a hotel bathroom in Meerut on Wednesday. Both were said to be in a relationship and belonged to Riyawali in Muzaffarnagar district. They fled their homes two days ago and had been living at the hotel in Meerut.Police said their families were unhappy with their relationship. A case of "kidnapping" was registered at Ratanpuri police station following the womans familys police complaint. After receiving news of the couples "suicide", a police team from Ratanpuri thana and the couples relatives reached Meerut and sent the bodies for postmortem.SHO of Ratanpuri, Pankaj Rai, said on Thursday, "A case has been registered in the matter. We are waiting for the postmortem report now. Further investigation is on."A senior cop, privy to the case, said the couple went to Meeruts Kankarkhera and booked a hotel room around 4pm on Wednesday. The hotel staff later noticed that the rooms door was left open and no one was inside.
